{Personality – History }

Despite her quiet, sometimes off-putting demeanor, Shizuko is a kind, timid soul who harbors a passion to help others. She can be closed-off at first, but if shown kindness and interacted with enough, the layer of snow with melt and her true colors will slowly blossom in time to anyone who takes the time to befriend her. Because she does not speak much, she is often described as “mysterious”, sometimes even “cold” as a smile rarely ever graces her lips. Additionally, like her flower symbolizes, she also is secretly a bit of a hopeless romantic. Although, if in the rare case she finds herself attracted to someone, she will bottle it up inside and hide it under her usual poker face.

History:

Shizuko grew up in a quiet family environment with her mother, father, and beloved older sister. Her days were often spent offering her sister any assistance she could or exploring with her when she had time. To her, her sister was like a saint; so compassionate and kind and pure of heart, and worked as a fabric colorist similar to her mother, who she often watched work at home. Due to this, Shizuko came to learn how to dye fabric at an early age, and soon developed a passion for it when she first tried it on her own The girl began experimenting with different dyes later on, eventually accidently managing to half-permanently dye her right hand a faint purple due to misplacing it in the dye too many times on accident. At some point, she began experimenting with the art of sewing. That, too, she grew fond of quickly. She often made her own clothes, settling for a fancy-looking kind of style to them .However, she wasn’t very confident in her abilities, and often hid the hobby from the public eye.

She was born with an eye condition early on that would cause blindness in her right eye. Despite her condition, Shizuko found a way around it and, with enough practice in sewing, even made her own eyepatch. Despite her talent in sewing, she came to follow her sister’s and mother’s footsteps and became a fabric colorist in the Carnation kingdom.
